Double-click application. It's that simple! For System 7.X, you may make an alias of the application and copy it into the System's folder's Apple Menu Items. Note you do not have to copy the "NotePad++ Help 2.2" document to the System folder as long the document is in the same folder as the application.
Installing NotePad++ v2.2DA Desk Accessory:
1. If you are using System 6.0.x: Install the "NotePad++ v2.2DA" using the Apple's Font/DA application. This will install the desk accessory into standard Apple's menu. An alternative method would be to use the Suitcase™ or MasterJuggler™ INIT/DA programs to install it into Apple' s menu. Consult your owner’s manual for more information about the Font/DA Mover, Suitcase™ or MasterJuggler™ INIT/DA programs.
2. If you are using System 7.X: Double-click the "NotePad v2.2DA" suitcase and copy the it to the Finder's desktop.
3. Copy "NotePad++ Help 2.2" to System folder.
Notes:
If you are using "Super Boomerang" or "Directory Assistance II" refer to the "NotePad++ v2.2 Configuration" document and "NP++ Configure v2.2" application to enable these utilities. You may obtain these files from extracting them from "NP++ Configure v2.2.sea".
